ALBANY — Ahead of the official opening of Albany’s first cannabis dispensary, Royale Flower Cannabis is partnering with Canterra to sell on-site cannabis products at its growers showcase in front of the future store at 332 Northern Blvd. in the capital city.

Royale Flower was set to open in October, but was one of many stores that were halted by the lawsuits challenging the state’s cannabis industry. Royale Flower owner Christine Richardson said she received her Conditional Adult-use Retail Dispensary (CAURD) license on July 19, shortly before the injunction began in early August.

Despite the legal challenges during the rollout, Richardson decided to partner with Canterra, a cannabis e-commerce and delivery platform, to create Albany’s first legal on-site cannabis retail growers showcase in Loudon Plaza, which first opened Saturday morning… click to continue reading
